USA Football Player Safety Clinic

The Buffalo Bills and USA Football held a “Player Safety Clinic” at ECC South Campus on June 14, 2014, to educate local area youth football coaches in teaching their coaching staffs, parents and players the “HeadsUp” football protocols including: proper tackling techniques; concussion recognition and awareness and monitoring for heat related illnesses.

In attendance representing the Niagara Erie Youth Sports Association (NEYSA) and their member organizations – Grand Island, Tonawanda Football Clinic (TFC), Niagara Falls Junior, Niagara Wheatfield, Lewiston Porter, Wilson and Pendleton Athletic Booster Association (PABA), were Player Safety Coaches that were nominated by their member organizations. The full day course was presented by USA Football master trainers and Mark Kelso, former Buffalo Bill and USA Football Ambassador.
