NEYSA ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN BUFFALO BILL’S “KID’S DAY” GAME

On August 23, 2014, NEYSA member organizations, the Niagara Wheatfield Amateur Athletics (NWAA) “Tomcats” and the Pendleton Athletic Booster Association (PABA) “Cougars”, which are our 10-11 year old teams, will participate in a half-time scrimmage at the Buffalo Bill’s preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  This will be the second to the last preseason home game for the Bills and is unique as this is also their 14th annual “Kid’s Day” game, which recognizes and celebrates the youth football players and coaches in Western New York.

This special recognition to our NEYSA members is a direct result of our collective participation in the USA Football “HeadsUp” program in which all NEYSA member organizations have committed to 100% certification for all of our Football coaches and to educate both parents and players in the “HeadsUp” initiatives and protocols.

Congratulations to NWAA and PABA for their selection to participate in this special event.
